330 image stack of Stigmodera sp. Head is 2-3mm across. Taken with an El-Nikkor 50mm f2.8 enlarging lens reversed onto a Nikon PB-6 bellows. This is an High Dynamic Range (HDR) combined image of three 110 image plane focus stacks. Don't try this at home unless you've got lots of processor power ! Feel free to explore and please contact me if anything seems broken (email link at bottom of page). Best viewed at an image resolution of 1024x768 or better and with Firefox 3.6+ Seems quite happy with Opera 10+, Chrome and Safari. However, it seems to have emotional difficulties with Internet Explorer which I'm trying (but not very hard) to fix.
